Box centering systems
These systems are accessories of the handling lines and serve to parallel adjust and centre the material conveyed.
OMT Biella Srl proposes different centering systems to be combined with the main handling systems.
CSFO material centering device
CSFO is to be combined with a roll conveyor, for example with the TRRM powered roll belt, and is particularly suitable for centering material having following features:
- weight: from 5 to 70 kg
- width: from 400 to 800 mm
- height: starting from 80 mm
It is important to mention that the packages must not be fragile, because CSFO is not equipped with limit switch sensors.
The design of CSFO requires minimum maintenance, and it is mainly composed of:

Frame made of stout press-bent steel sheet. This frame serves to support and protect the centering device mechanical part, and is fixed to the roll conveyor.

Centering mobile levers installed on shafts with supporting pin on the bearing

Pneumatic roller for controlling the mobile levers

Solenoid valve for controlling the pneumatic roller

Adjustable rod with articulated heads to synchronise and standardise the motion of the centering levers

CSLIRU material centering device
Like CSFO, the CSLIRU is to be combined with a roll conveyor, for example with the TRRM powered roll belt, and is suitable for centering materials having the following features
- weight: from 5 to 70 kg
- width: from 400 to 800 mm
- height: starting from 30 mm
Thanks to its linear centering motion, CSLIRU is suitable to transport very low packages and has been designed to require minimum maintenance.
It is mainly composed of:

Frame made of stout press-bent steel sheet. This frame serves to support and protect the centering device mechanical part, and is fixed to the roll conveyor.
- Mobile centering panels installed on linear ball recycle sleeves
- Shafts in casehardened and tempered steel to guide the mobile panels
- Pneumatic roller with articulated fork to control the centering panel stroke

Panel jointing system, made of belt and toothed snub pulleys for motion synchronisation

Shaped sheeting fixed to the mobile panels suitable for material centering

Special safety guards
Available options:
To handle delicate material, there is the possibility to install deflection-proof sensors in the shaped sheeting for material centering. The limit switch sensors inside the sheeting detect the centred material and automatically release it.
CSLINA material centering device
CSLINA is to be combined with a roll conveyor, for example with NAU conveyor belt, and is suitable for centering material having the following features:
- weight: from 5 to 70 kg
- width: from 400 to 800 mm
- height: starting from 30 mm
